Family Tutoring Alliance awards $1,500 scholarships to families that can be used with approved, high-quality tutoring providers.
Eligibility & Process
Eligibility:
Demonstrate that the student is struggling academically (test scores or a teacher referral)
Family income must be within 300% of the average income for the region (90% of families are within this income level)
Process:
Families apply through the application portal and are notified of their eligibility within a week
Scholarships are awarded at the beginning of each month
The number of scholarships available is dependent on the number of donations raised through the tax credit
Families select an approved tutoring provider and begin receiving tutoring within the month the scholarship is awarded
