Tutoring Providers
Family Tutoring Alliance provides assurances to families and donors that tutoring provided through scholarships meets high standards for quality and effectiveness.
Eligibility & Process
Eligibility:
Demonstrate a record of significant results from previous tutoring.
Commit to consistent engagement with families, meeting minimum requirements for the amount of tutoring a child receives each week, and sharing assessment data with Family Tutoring Alliance.
Process:
Tutoring providers apply to be included on the eligible providers list (applications to open in Fall 2026).
Families who receive a scholarship may select any approved tutoring provider.
Payments to the provider come directly from the ‘scholarship wallet’ after families confirm the session occurred.
Frequency of payments is monitored to ensure that each provider is providing services at the frequency necessary to ensure tutoring is effective.
Tutoring providers agree to share results of prescribed pre and post assessments so that quality of services can be monitored.
If a tutoring provider fails to maintain quality standards they may be removed from the approved provider list.
